The UDM Connector 5.0 DA Velcro Backing Plate replaces the standard Porter Cable polishing pad allowing pads to be changed quickly and easily. The UDM Connector 5.0 DA Velcro Backing Plate requires only 0.15 pounds per square inch of pad pressure to begin flexing, offering comfort (less hopping) and improved polishing safety. With its unique 30 degree beveled edge, fully-laminated Velcro backing, and advanced polyurethane foam construction, the UDM Connector 5.0 DA Backing Plate adds a new level of safety and quality. When used with 6 inch to 7 inch foam pads, the UDM Connector 5.0 DA Backing Plate is perfectly balanced for use with the Ultimate Detail Machine by Porter Cable and most other dual action polishers. The 5 inch flexible backing plate fits all polishers with a 5/16 inch -24 thread spindle.
